WHAT YOU’LL DO:
The Set-Up Technician is responsible for providing error free and efficient set-ups and changeovers and startup of molds and auxiliary equipment.
ACCOUNTABILITIES IN THE ROLE:
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures. All Quality Systems procedures and work instructions are consistently followed.
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed to support customer requirements.
- Keeps Production Team Leaders informed of any problems that may impact schedule completion or overall cost of production schedule.
- Works with the Production Team Leaders to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and effectively.
- Performs other duties or tasks as may be assigned from time to time by the Production Team Leader or Technical Operations Manager.
- Participates in daily schedule change decisions and provide necessary support.
- Perform Injection Mold set-up and changeovers & secondary set-up and changeovers.
- Performs startup of injection molding presses.
- Performs barrel changes as part of the set-up process.
- Performs all material handling functions of a set up or changeover.
- Communicate all daily problems/concerns to Production Team Leaders.
- Communicate all system related suggestions and concerns to the Technical Operations Manager (IWD) Production Manager (TR).
- Maintain documentation systems related to mold set-up, changeover and start up.
- Any other duties that may be necessary to accomplish the goals of this position or goals of the company.
- Complete PI Training.
- Backup Setup Techs will complete the Annual Setup Sheet.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or Equivalent.
- Able to use Microsoft products (MSWord, PowerPoint, Excel). Able to effectively use company ERP system (IQMS) in areas that pertain to your responsibilities.
- Experience with Injection Molding presses and auxiliary equipment.
- Basic understanding of Molding equipment and tooling.
- Must have training on the Overhead Crane System and Mold Storage.
- Pass Set Pull Level 1, Level 2.
- Ability to perform functions of Product Inspector.
- Perform Material Handling functions.
- Must be able to Maintain fork truck license

CORE HOURS:
This is a Day shift position. Hours are Monday – Friday from 6:45 am to 3:15 am.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As the Human Resources Manager, you will manage, administer, and support the HR activities and initiatives for Ironwood Plastics that will align the workforce with organizational goals and objectives.
WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH:
- Manages and supports the organization’s HR and safety practices, policies, and programs, to align with business goals and the needs of multiple locations.
- Research and recommends new or enhanced HR practices, policies, or programs, ensuring approved changes are effectively implemented and communicated across the business.
- Oversees and maintains HR and safety records required by law, including but not limited to: Affirmative Action Plan, Vest 100 & 100A, Tier 11 & TRI Environmental reporting; EEOC, MIOSHA 300 & 300A.
- Ensures legal compliance, maintains records, and protects confidential information.
- Assists with developing and maintaining job descriptions, ensuring roles are properly classified and compliant with federal and state requirements.
- Prepares HR related reports, budgets, and conducts research concerning compensation planning.
- Leads performance management initiatives, promoting consistent use of tools and assessments to develop leaders and measure team members’ progress toward business goals.
- Manages and supports recruiting activities, partnering with hiring managers to ensure effective hiring.
- Oversee onboarding, orientation, offboarding, and employee transitions, including coordination of leaves of absence and other milestones.
- Manages, collaborates, and supports the management team on tough employee issues, investigations, and transitions providing recommendations and guidance on effective solutions and/or appropriate actions, ensuring thorough documentation, investigation, and policy/procedure compliance.
- Communicates benefits program information.
- Actively participates in employee relations activities and initiatives that foster an environment for employee engagement, safety, and wellness.
- Actively participates and attends department or committee meetings, providing input toward department goals and objectives, while providing direction or recommendations on departmental best practices and process improvement initiatives that will promote efficiency.
- Collaborates and assists parent company HR and legal departments on broader initiatives, audits, and other matters.
- Always demonstrates a high degree of ethical standards and integrity.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Organizational Leadership, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience within HR, managing various HR functions in a manufacturing environment and 4+ years of industry experience preferred.
- Certification(s): SHRM-CP or PHR preferred
- Functional Skills: Experienced with managing and supporting the HR activities and initiatives around Talent Management, Recruiting, Employee Relations and HR practice, policy and process compliance within a manufacturing environment; ability to provide exceptional support and guidance while becoming a trusted resource and building effective partnerships within each of the business locations and throughout the organization; ability to listen and solve problems calmly, objectively, and effectively with solid reasoning to be able to make good decisions; great with project management, prioritization, managing details, and follow-through, willingness to work outside standard business hours as needed.
- Technology Aptitude/Skills: Experienced with HRIS applications and ability to learn proprietary software required; Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint required.
- Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written skillset; able to present and train workforce on HR policies.
- Leadership/Behaviors: Demonstrates a customer-service and support personality who has a strength in educating others towards best practices and creating enhanced solutions targeted towards business goals; forward thinking, with the ability to be discreet with confidential information, who is able to be collaborative and resourceful; is self-directed and can work well within a broad set of guidelines.

SALARY:
Salary is commensurate with proven expertise.

General Manager.
CORE HOURS:
7:00am – 4:30pm (schedule can be somewhat flexible).
TYPICAL WORK WEEK:
M-F; some weekends are required; 45 hours a week on average.
DIRECT REPORTS
HR Generalist located in Two Rivers, Wisconsin.
TRAVEL:
Approximately 20%; college and university recruiting fairs mostly in the mid-west, Two Rivers location for HR support, occasional travel to Corporate Headquarters.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Entry Level Product Inspectors will learn to run machines, visually and dimensionally inspect product, package product and problem solve. Each level of Product Inspector requires a higher level of understanding of these skills
ACCOUNTABILITIES IN THE ROLE:
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures. All Quality Systems procedures and work instructions are consistently followed.
- Visual Inspection of parts
- Operate Presses in semi-operation mode
- Ensure machines are cycling properly at the lowest possible cycle time.
- Ensure materials needed at the press are stocked (Raw material, boxes, inserts, etc.), especially at shift change, without overstocking.
- Clean up of work areas
- Ensure that support personnel are notified of problems/questions
- Communicate all problems to on-coming personnel
- Maintain job documentation
- Dimensional checking of parts
- Ensure proper inventory of parts (perform shift counts, minimize overruns)
- Quick response to Machine Alarms/Repair
- Assist other shift personnel as needed.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or its equivalent.
- Clear Penmanship
- Good vision to spot defects
- Good Hand to Eye Coordination/Dexterity
- The training process is challenging and requires the ability to learn new skills
- Able to use Microsoft products (MSWord, PowerPoint, Excel). Able to effectively use company ERP system (IQMS) in areas that pertain to your responsibilities.

CORE HOURS:
- Ironwood Plastics offers three shifts, one to suit anyone’s needs! All shifts run Monday – Friday
- Day Shift – 6:45 am to 3:15 pm
- Afternoon Shift 2:45 pm to 11:15 pm ($1.50/hr shift premium offered)
- Night Shift 10:45 pm to 7:15 am ($2.00/hr shift premium offered)
TYPICAL WORK WEEK:
All shifts run Monday through Friday. You receive a 30 minute unpaid lunch and a 10 minute paid break.
